A native of Louvain, one of Belgium’s university cities, Leen has always had an affinity with everything “beautiful”. With a sociology degree as background (she wanted to “understand” the world we’re living in) Leen made a career in advertising, while her leisure time was spent on what really mattered to her – art, design and fashion.
Louvain considered as being too small for her aspirations, Leen moved to the country’s capital Brussels, having as such the opportunity to immerse herself in this cosmopolite city (capital of Europe obliges). Fluent in English, French and Dutch and more than able of helping out in German, Italian and Spanish, living in Brussels was as having an eye on the world – open to discover a multitude of cultures. A keen traveller and amateur of the USA, Leen also discovered this part of the globe - and its citizens - on several journeys.
In addition, through her work in Antwerp’s fashion universe, where she acted as Japanese designer Issey Miyake’s brand consultant in a multi-brand boutique, Antwerp has become a second home.
Following her passion, Leen earned a degree as Personal Shopper at Milan’s Event and Media Education Institute.
Leen now offers Styling advice and Personal Shopping Tours in Antwerp and Brussels.
